Ordered a new pair of Columbia snow boots and they sent me two right boots. Two different sizes too. There are many other great options for online shoe shopping- steer clear of these clowns."
Former Employee - Assistant Manager says"The managers are horrible people"
Current Employee - Key-holder says"They cut my pay after 4 years of being with the company because of minimum wage going up (also this was without notice), the company is very cheap and doesn’t care about their employees at all, they also didn’t tell me when I began to qualify for benefits, PTO is use it or lose it, only reason I gave this company one star is because there isn’t an option for zero"
says"Having to do the store managers job while getting paid as an assistant"
Current Employee - Sales Associate says"not enough pay or hours"
Former Employee - Sales Associate/Key Holder says"Boss always verbally and emotionally abused me, no pay increase at the beginning of the year with the key holder pay when promised because my boss “didn’t feel like it”, constantly yelled at for this I didn’t do."
Current Employee - Sales Associate says"No consideration of employees and their mental health/wellbeing"
Former Employee - Keyholder says"Horrible hours No benefits Manager wouldn't show up half the time and would have to cover shift Was "on call" to be able to work any time their open and 95% of the time would have to Low pay"
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"They do not give you raises when they are supposed to. The manager will leave you in the store by yourself to go shopping in the mall, to walmart, or for a smoke break. Even left one time to go pick up their kid. They do not care to train you but if you dont know how to do something, they get mad at you for asking how."
Current Employee - Production says"Supervisors have no training or experience as managers. Supervisors ride around around on bikes talking all day while barking orders and acting like prison guards and treating employees like children. Many redundant practices and wastes of money. Very little chance for advancement. Manual labor and extreme environment (sweltering in the summer and cold in the winter). Billion dollar company that rewards a yearly bonus of a $10 Food Lion Card, that was probably donated to them. Plus, you barely get raises that equal the 10% inflation rate. One would think a billion dollar shoe company would give a pair of shoes, nope!"
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Still using DOS computer system, dot matrix printers & green bar paper. If you want to take blast to the past, this is the place for you! Too many manual processes for the size of the company. This is the first company I have ever worked for that has you read the employee hand book and takes it back, you don't get a copy! Horrible benefits. Low pay."
Key Holder/Sales Lead (Former Employee) says"I would not recommend this job, requires a lot for little pay!! They are very unprofessional, I was there 1 week & within that 1 week I taught myself everything with my past experience! They can’t keep anyone.. that’s why they are always hiring! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! NothingEverything"
Store Manager (Former Employee) says"I was employed for 3 plus years started off as a keyholder moved to to a store manager very quickly even though I ran around to other stores helping them they told me I was not eligible to move up because of my age. CEO of the company said they would not look at me for advancement even if I qualified because I was to young. They do not give you payroll to cover the store so your there all the time by yourself while trying to control shrink. Management are not allowed breaks or lunches. Co-workersNo breaks, poor district manager, they do not care about their staff not family orientated at all"
Sales Associate (Former Employee) says"I was judged based on my orientation. They were calling me derogatory names while in the work setting. I was not paid properly I was judged based on a character flaw."
3rd Key Assistant Manager (Former Employee) says"They were very prejudice. District Management was rude and thought of all black people as potential thieves. The pay for a manager was $8.00 an hr. This is a place for teens to work not an adult job at all."

Floor Leader (Former Employee) says"Shoe show is now out of business, because of the fake items that were being sold at the store. I am no longer in contact with management because the company in Westland is no longer open for business."
Sales Associate (Former Employee) says"Never in my life would I work for shoe show in the Westend every again ! Fake wanna be managers don’t know what they’re doing. Even the real manager don’t know what she’s doing either. They work you too hard for 7.25 hour then the manager and key holders do what they wanna do even the old employees who been there years get to do what they wanna do."
Key Holder/Sales Lead (Current Employee) says"They DO NOT care about the employees, regaurdless on how well you do your job, you will NOT get the recognition or PAY you deserve. The company is cheap and only cares about the money that WE bring in for them. Never worked for such a heartless company before in my life!"
Sale Associate (Former Employee) says"I usually open during the week and it's slow mostly during the day so I would clean, do inventory, stocking shoes on the shelf. I've learned a lot about different types of shoes, there's a lot.. Management wasn't very professional at times and it's usually when the head or assistant manager isn't there. Making sure the customers are satisfied. Most enjoyable part about it was getting a discount"
Sales Associate (Current Employee) says"don’t do it 3600 a year don’t cut it and they expect you to work forever and only make minimum wage and nowadays that doesn’t help you make it in lifeHaha funny if they had anyEverything"
Manger (Former Employee) says"They expect u to work alone all the time and the responsibility is on you and they don’t care about their employees or they would not allow workers to work together at night esp when u leave the store alone with a bag of money that u have to delv to the bank drop box to much of a routine for people to pick up on and get hurt .NoneNever got a break u work 12 hours alone sorry if ur hungry eat their while no customers"
Sales Associate (Former Employee) says"If You Have Kids I Wouldn't Recommend This Company Because You Won’t See Them Like That Because You’d Be Working So Much. WATCH OUT ! Because This Company Is Very Cliquey ! It’s An Okay Job If You’re In High School Or Maybe Starting College But Other Then That It’s Not Everyone’s Cup Of Tea . They Wanna Overwork People But Not Pay More That’s Not Fair Under Any Circumstances! People Have LIVES No One Wants To Feel Like Their Life Is Revolved Around A Job 24/7 . Shipment Is Annoying Because First Off Where Are The Shoes Gonna Go! Second Off A LOT Of Shoes Won’t Even Sell Like That. Get Rid Of Em ! They’re Taking Up Space ! Upper Management Is TRASH Because They Don’t ANY Compassion. There’s Too Many Jobs In The World To Be Stressing Over One Because Truth Be Told Life Is Too Short ! But I Would NEVER Work Here Again ! I’m Not Satisfied With Them At All . They Don’t Care About Their Employees !Discounts, Engaging With CustomersUpper Management Is A JOKE, People Steal Sales, Inventory"
Supervisor/Manager (Former Employee) says"Promote only through family and friends!!! Most unprofessional place I've ever worked. They usually terminate the best employees and keep the worst!!!!NoneHuman Relations and Management"
Sales Associate/Cashier/Customer Service/Stock (Former Employee) says"Shoe Show needs to update there store policies to refect their employers and the current age. Their policies still consist as if you were living in the 50's and 60's. They do not have security, cameras nor they do paid time off or let you leave if you have a medical emergency.."
Danielle Adams says"Order never arrived and they claimed that sending a replacement is a liability and refused service."
